This is wonderful as a topping for desserts or to sweeten and flavor drinks.



Serves:

~1 cup

6 minutes

 

Cook time:

6 minutes

Ingredients

1 vanilla bean, cut into small pieces

3/4 cup water

1 1/2 cup sugar

 

 

Instructions

Put all ingredients into a small pan.

Simmer for about 6 minutes.

Strain out big pieces and let syrup cool.
