Bitchin' Sauce, original flavor

We support a family business which creates those three wonderfully flavored Bitchin' Sauces. We discovered them at our Farmer's Market. Every weekend when we're at the Farmer's Market we buy this amazing sauce. And we continue to support and buy their sauces and hope you will too. Bitchinsauce.com
There are moments when we are desperate and have to fall back on making it ourselves. So here is a really good recipe with small adjustments, it is yummy!

Use it to dip fresh veggies for appetizer or snack. Use it in burritos, over rice and beans or? You'll come up with many more ideas, I am sure of it.

Aubergines with Tomato and Yoghurt

This is a recipe from the cookbook "Favorite Indian Food" by Diane Seed. And boy it is sooooo good. I serve it with rice and salad and I always hope for leftovers. I spread the eggplants on a fresh baked roll for lunch the day after and after eating it I am a very happy person.
I love spices! And the tomatoes with the ginger and garlic make such a nice flavor on the eggplants.

Samosas

This recipe details how to make homemade samosas, featuring a simple dough and a savory potato filling seasoned with ginger, garlic, cumin, and chili. It provides instructions for preparing the dough, mixing the flavorful stuffing, and assembling the triangular pastries. The samosas can then be either deep-fried for a traditional crisp or baked for a healthier alternative.

Fire-roasted Salsa

Ripe tomatoes, onion, and garlic are roasted in an unoiled pan until slightly burnt, creating a rich, smoky base for this versatile salsa. Blended in stages to achieve a chunky texture and customizable spiciness, it's an ideal accompaniment for tortilla chips or Mexican dishes.

Roasted Yams Summer Salad

This is a potato salad I love. I am not a potato salad person, but I had a big potato and yams I had to use up. Since it was a very nice and warm summer day I decided to try out a new recipe which I found in Barbara Kingsolver book "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle". Off course, because it is me, I can't let a recipe stand how it is, I had to change it.

Stir Fry Green Beans

Upon returning to Berkeley after spending 3 months away, I was unable to buy everything I needed to fully restock my apartment, so what was originally intended to be Szechuan Green Beans turned into this. I was quite pleased with the outcome.

Mixed Salad

Don't get stuck on salads with just lettuce. When making salads, let your imagination go wild. Use whatever ingredients you have and which strike your fancy! The more colorful, the better!
